Essay Competition Winners Announced

Toronto Centre received many high-quality submissions in our first annual essay competition which asked What Role Can Financial Supervisors and Regulators Play in Promoting Gender Equality and the Economic Empowerment of Women? We are pleased to announce the winner of this competition as Dr. Olufemi Oladejo, Senior Bank Examiner for the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Dr. Olufemi's winning essay has been combined with excerpts from the submissions of three honourable mentions: Enam Yawa Kodade from the Bank of Ghana, Sok Heng Lay from the National Bank of Cambodia, and Andrea Fernandez Tinoco from the Superintendence of Banks, Insurance, and Private Pension Funds, Peru.
